Hmmmm, not sure about the TC ref; I have said that about Keith though...since TC left before the tune in Jan 70 if I recall, the only chance, I think, would've been the show in April at FillEast, when he came on as a guest, but don't think the tune was in circulation that early, right?

Anyhow, KG really did add some nice piano in those early days, and that brings us round to the Elton mention, eh?

Yikes - I guess it had to be Keith you were referring to (so much for my gushing about the valued wisdom you impart, and that it's not lost... too funny!) And worse, now I'm one of those people that make easy to spot factual errors, along the lines of 'Brent's prowess in such & such 1974 show...' I can feel the hurling shoes coming towards my head already!

Ha! Now, don't take this personally, but scrolling down I see the spam beneath your post, and the first thought I have is "ah ha! they realize he doesn't know his keyboard players and will be easy prey!" Then I see I got it too!

JK! But it did kinda occur to me...

How did THIS spam happen??? Isn't it "work" to insert it after a post--ie, does one of those "bots" do that kinda thing?

I thought the same thing - intentional spam meant to add insult to injury for my gaffe.
